Practitioner and Patient

• It is important that you provide complete information about your health at or prior to a consultation. Any failure to provide complete and honest information may result in incorrect diagnosis and/or inappropriate or ineffective treatment and we accept no responsibility for any such consequences of your failure to provide the required information.

• Should you need to cancel an appointment/ consultation within 48 hours before or fail to attend an appointment, the right is reserved by Apothecary Forager to request the appointment fee be paid in full.

• If Apothecary Forager may need to to cancel an appointment, you will be informed as soon possible. A full refund will be issued to anyone who has paid in advance or an alternative appointment will be arranged.  

• Where a refund is due - payment will be issued within 7 days of notice of cancellation.

• Please inform Apothecary Forager of any infectious illnesses you may have or have been exposed to and refrain from attending any in-person appointments. This includes if you have Covid or another similarly infectious condition.

Payments

• Payment for any service or product will be through the website e-commere or upon agreement, by bank transfer on receipt of an invoice.

• Invoices for consultations, treatments, over the counter herbal medicines and prescriptions must be paid within 3 days of receipt. Failure to adhere to this timescale entitles us to cease provision of services and/or products to you.

• The use of the e-commerce is governed by own terms and conditions and we accept no responsibility for the acts or omissions of Squarespace e-commerce or for the operation of its services.

• The successful ordering through this website is completed upon full payment for any products or services- an email confirmation will be received upon successful payment. You are responsible for transfer fees and bank administration fees. Please check the amount of these fees with your bank at the point of transfer and add any transfer fees that might be incurred to Apothecary Forager by your chosen payment method.

Products/ Prescriptions

• All product orders are aimed to be dispatched within 5 working days. Bespoke medicines and prescriptions are intended to be produced and dispatched within this time frame- however they may take a little longer (up to 4 weeks). Parcels are normally dispatched using Royal Mail first class tracked or signed for to the UK.

• Please ensure to provide all the relevant information requested in our order form and to declare any possible ‘contraindicating factors such as pregnancy, breastfeeding or medications. Failure to provide any of this information will render your order ‘on hold’. If information is missing and we are unable to fulfil your order- we reserve the right to cancel the order.

• Cost of postage and packaging are based on the cost to us of packaging and posting products and will be charged in full.

• Apothecary Forager reserves the right to cancel orders or withdraw products or services should it be considered necessary to do so. 

• Apothecary Forager reserves the right to refuse to supply you with any of our products or services if it is considered appropriate to take this action.

• If you are not happy with a product you have received from us for any reason, please send an email to explain the nature of the issue within 48 hours of receipt of goods to discuss its return and refund. Clearly state your product order number, date of purchase, customer name, original address and email address and product name.

• If you are attending any of our appointments, events, walks, talks or courses, using any services or products, it is mandatory to complete all details on any registration/order/ consultation form we provide and to inform us of any allergies, medications or other health issues which may impact the appropriateness of you using our services or products.


• Except where we are negligent, we accept no liability for any injury or damage sustained by your use of our services or products.

Booking T &Cs for individuals on public events

To book your place on any event/ workshop/ talk/ walk/ course offered by us, full payment is required. Unless there are severe weather warnings - events/ walks/workshops/ courses will go

ahead even if the weather is inclement. However Ruth reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event/ walk/ talk/ workshop. All paid participants will be informed and offered either a refund or alternative date. Full refunds are possible if cancellations are made no later than 28 days before the event/ walk /talk/ workshop/ course date. 50% refunds may be organised if cancellations are between 27-15 days before the workshop date. No refund is offered if the attendee cancels 14 days or less before the event/ walk/talk/ workshop. Transfers to other events/ walks/ talks are not offered. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months unless stated otherwise and will not be accepted beyond the expiry date unless the course date you wish to book is postponed or cancelled.

Refunds are not available for gift vouchers but they can be transferred to any course or event or to another person. Any travel, accommodation or other arrangements, made for your participation on the course are entirely made at your own risk. Attendees are advised to acquire any relevant insurances against losses due to any instance of cancellation. Event/ walk/ talk/ course cancellations are rare, however in the eventuality of a cancellation all fees paid will be refunded (unless they are preferred by the attendee to be transferred onto another event/ walk/ talk/ course). No liability can be accepted for any consequential losses incurred.

Booking T&Cs for corporate events

By providing written confirmation and agreement (e.g., via email or letter) to the specified dates and prices for events, walks, talks, or workshops, you are acknowledging and

accepting the terms and conditions outlined below.

Payments:

A retainer fee must be submitted 28 days prior to the event. For bookings made less than 28 days in advance of the event date, the remaining agreed-upon fee is required within 28 days of the event.

Cancellations by the Hirer:

In the event of a cancellation by the hirer, a 10% cancellation fee will apply for events canceled within 90 days of the scheduled date. Cancellations occurring less than 28 days before the event booking will incur a 50% fee.

Cancellations by Ruth:

Ruth reserves the right to cancel any event due to adverse weather conditions, venue issues, or sickness. In such cases, the hirer will be notified with as much advance notice as possible. Apothecary Forager shall not be held liable for any loss of time, money, or additional expenses resulting from circumstances beyond our control. If the organizer needs to cancel the event, an alternative date will be proposed.

Use of website

You must be at least 18 years old to access and use this website. By using the website and agreeing to these terms and conditions, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. Content featured on the website is the intellectual property of Ruth Weaver. In these terms and conditions, "content" refers to any text, graphics, images, audio, video, software, data compilations, page layout, underlying code and software, and any other form of information capable of being stored in a computer that appears on or forms part of this website. A limited number of images used on this site were sourced through a free image website.
